PHILLY 9/28/26

What's up everyone. Been a couple weeks so that's my bad but things have been great out here. Updates, I'm leaving Norristown and I'm going to be zone leading for the first time in Philly. So much stuff going on last couple weeks but I'll just give some highlights and catch up on crazy guy of the week.

Highlights

Yesterday Jack and Michelle got baptized and it was so awesome. Best way to leave an area.

Teaching so many Haitians. I love Haiti.

Crazy guy of the week from two weeks ago: Bro Walter

We went and did some service for an inactive member and all of his tools were Ryobi and that's crazy. I'm glad I was born and raised in Ace hardware because Ryobi sucks. I was mowing his lawn and I went through 3 batteries on this electric lawn mower, it was self propelled and it would drive and then randomly stop. Buy dewalt.

Crazy guy of the week from 1 week ago: Africatown

We had exchanges in Africatown and it's the greatest place on earth. We taught a whole family of Haitians and hung out on woodland which is this road full of only african shops. The missionaries are tight with all the shop owners and we always get free water and stuff. I met Momma Yahyah for the first time. She's our muslim momma from liberia and she always gives us juice and tries to set us up with the sister missionaries. We also got fed twice and Liberian food is SPICY. Had check rice and fish with pepper gravy  which wasn't too bad and then had some sort of stew which was HOT. Elder Bennet had to eat mine while our friend wasn't looking because you aren't allowed to leave until your plate is gone.

Crazy guy of the week from this week: Melanie

Melanie is our Haitian friend with a crush on me. A while ago she asked if I was married but this week we were teaching her and we FaceTime the creole speaking missionaries so they can talk to her because my creole "sounds Jamaican". Im sitting next to her holding the phone and she just starts cuddling up to me. The creole elders have been making fun of me for a week now
