Week one 8/28/25

Home MTC started August 25, 2025.  

First email as a missionary

Hello everyone, hopefully this email goes through, I don't know how to work gmail very well. If something goes wrong please let me know how to fix it . This was my first week at home MTC and the days get LONG. Being on zoom calls for 10 hours a day sucks. However, I am learning a lot. Information is getting thrown at me so fast, I feel like I'm trying to drink from a fire hose. Elder Carter is my companion and he's a stud. Learning the basics on how to be an effective missionary and Elder Carter and I are picking it up pretty quickly. Other than that not too much is going on. Love you all, Elder Monroe out.

After 10 days of Home MTC we drove up to Provo to drop him off at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT. Before we dropped him off we were able to meet up with Grandpa Monroe for lunch at Outback Steakhouse. Grandma Monroe was in the hospital.  We had just enough time to stop by the hospital and Carter, Devin and Mark were able to give her a blessing.  It was a wonderful experience.  

On to drop off which was very quick.  In the gate, down to the parking garage and out. Missionary Delivered!
