Back at it


Monday
Played some pickleball, shout out Grandma Monroe. Got all you can eat sushi and we ate so much we almost yacked. Elder Johnson put down 9 rolls though. Went to a thrift store and got some ties. Went to a vinyl store and looked at music. After p day we taught this one african lady and then went home and found out the other elders were already teaching her.

Tuesday
Had district council. Had a member bring us 3 rotisserie chickens. Met crazy guy of the week.

Wednesday
Zone conference. Saw Elder Carter and Big Dave. Met a senior couple from Fillmore and got a picture with them. By the time we got home and ate dinner we only had about 1 hour to work.

Thursday
Had exchanges with the Milford elders so I was with Elder Johnson. Knocked this one house and the lady immediately invited us in but when we sat down we realized she only speaks spanish. You would think that would make the conversation short but we were still there for a good half hour. Right after we got bashed by a catholic in spanish. Had a member take us out for burritos for lunch. Went to a diner with these people from the Congo for dinner.

Friday
Mom's birthday and Elder Crane's birthday. Shout out mom you're pretty cool. Saw a guy with a pistol in his waistband and the mag stuck out like an extra foot or so. That's about the only interesting thing that happened that day.

Saturday
I did no missionary work this day, it was just sidequests. Helped this one recent convert move. While walking around this random dude bought some water ice for us from this dominican guy and it was so good. Elder Waite was pretty sick so after dinner I went to the hospital with him so I watched the food network for a good hour or so.

Sunday
Stayed home from church with Elder Waite. After church Elder Crane and I did all our zoom meeting out on our porch which was so nice.

Crazy guy of the week
Invited this guy to church in this street and he said his name was Sphinx. We started talking about church and then all of the sudden he took off his Shiesty to show us "how beautiful he was" and then we started talking about church again. Then all of the sudden he grabs his phone and starts playing Chris Brown and breaks into dance. The dance turned into ninja moves and the conversation ended with him telling us he'd punch Lebron in the nuts to defeat him. I caught some of the ninja moves on camera so check out the google photos.

Finally in the Field 9/22/25

Whats up everyone, this last week has been crazy. I wrapped stuff up at the mtc and now I'm finally in the field. The MTC Being able to leave the third member of the trio and not have to be someones mom anymore was amazing, however saying goodbye to everyone else sucked. I made a lot of new friends at the MTC and I'm gonna miss them, shoutout to the boys in district 20 N, the boys in room 121 and especially my old comp Elder Carter.  There were like 25 kids going from the MTC to Philly so we definetly got some weird looks while we were at the airport. We had a bunch of delays so we didn't get to Philly until pretty late. Despite that they still loaded everyone into some vans and drove us to the mission home to meet the Mission President. Brother and sister Corbridge were super welcoming and kind. After they gave us dinner we loaded back up and slept in a hotel. New transfer 7/13/26

Been a good week, did some stuff. Monday Last P day of the transfer and we spent it with the other elders in the district. Went to Valley Forge and saw George Washington's house and church. Went to mission BBQ and this lady named Ellie who always gives us free food said goodbye to the Elders that were leaving. Went to the mall and bought a hat. Tuesday First day of the new transfer. We were late to transfers because Elder Hillam didn't start packing until this morning. Picked up my new comp Elder Gosman. Ate a cheesesteak. Wednesday Lead district council with my fly down the whole time. Some might say I'm a visible leader  Thursday Had a lady flirt with us pretty hard at a McDonalds but nothing really happened today. Friday Nothing too crazy happened today either. The bishop fed us pizza though. Saturday Taught the whole day it was awesome. We just went from lesson to lesson nonstop.
