Bad Bunny 4/27/26

Another week down. 

Monday Went to Chili's and they got rid of their dragon fruit lemonade, had to settle for mango. Heard where is my mind by the pixies and that made my week. 

Tuesday District council. Had district lunch at olive garden. Holy cow olive garden is overhyped but the waitress was attractive so I can't complain. Went on zone leader exchanges but it wasn't anything crazy because I was in the same area and I live with the guy. We still talked about music all day though so it was ok. For dinner the Bastows took us to Buffalo Wild wings, holy cow I didn't know it was NBA finals that's nuts. 

Wednesday Had a Dominican feed us, I love Dominicans. 

Thursday Went and taught an African with Elder Gines, I love africans. After that we scrambled up to this book fair we have been doing service at. It was opening day and I've never seen so many grandmas running around getting books. Taught lots of lessons and stopped at wawa for drinks on the way home. Elder Covington's dad ordered us pizza too so it was a good night. 

Friday Went on an exchange and this elder was actually Forrest Gump. Loves distance running, was in the military and definitely has a touch of the tism. He was SO funny and awkward. For dinner I had the most mid Halahl of all time. 

Saturday I love rain but today was cheeks. It was just above freezing and it poured the whole day. Cooked my phone from phone calls. At dinner I stripped down and through all my stuff in the dryer and ate some mac n cheese in nothing but a blanket. After that we walked around and got soaked again and then went to the church for basketball. 

Sunday Had all three of our friends on date pull up for church. Also played the guitar a bunch after 9. 

Crazy guy of the week Saturday while it was raining there was nobody outside. Except this Puerto Rican dude named Junior. Junior was so drunk and he waved us over to talk to him. He didn't speak much english so he just grabbed one of our hands each and starts chanting "Bad Bunny" over and over. We just went with it so there I was chanting bad bunny in the middle of the street while holding hands with this drunk puerto rican.

What's up everyone. Been a couple weeks so that's my bad but things have been great out here. Updates, I'm leaving Norristown and I'm going to be zone leading for the first time in Philly. So much stuff going on last couple weeks but I'll just give some highlights and catch up on crazy guy of the week. Highlights Yesterday Jack and Michelle got baptized and it was so awesome. Best way to leave an area. Teaching so many Haitians. I love Haiti. Exchanges President interviews Lowlights Lots of driving Saying goodbyes Packing all my stuff Crazy guy of the week from two weeks ago: Bro Walter We went and did some service for an inactive member and all of his tools were Ryobi and that's crazy. I'm glad I was born and raised in Ace hardware because Ryobi sucks. I was mowing his lawn and I went through 3 batteries on this electric lawn mower, it was self propelled and it would drive and then randomly stop. Buy dewalt. What's up everyone! First week in the new area is all done. I absolutely love it already. I am in the Pennypack Ward which is in Northeast Philly. We replaced a companionship of sisters and I am Zone leading for the first time. Here's some stats Pros I am in a quad with Elder Hart again, I haven't seen him since Allentown. Elder Jensen cooks me food.  I made a my little pony tie General conference  Cons Everyone here is Russian and idk how to speak Russian  Friends falling off date Being called gay for my my little pony tie Crazy guy of the week I'm not going to lie we found like no crazy people this week unfortunately but we will be on the lookout this week
