GOD BLESS AMERICAπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ¦…πŸ—½

When I'm fat and old I can tell my grandkids that I was in the birthplace of America for the 250th anniversary of our country. This whole last week was just a celebration of America but unfortunately there was a CRAZY heat wave and I've never been so sweaty and gross in my life.

Tuesday
Zone P day at the mission home with a devotional on America and hotdogs and hamburgers. Got to see Elder Crane, Waite, Covington and all my other friends from Reading.

Wednesday
Had exchanges and ate a two foot long cheesesteak.

Thursday
Went to a Portuguese families house for dinner and we walk in and they have their tv in their dining room and they're watching Portugal in the world cup. I've never seen anyone more into a soccer game, it was just an hour and a half of screaming in portuguese while we ate. AND PORTUGAL COOKED CROATIA 2-1πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή. Ronaldo is the goat

Friday
Got some jerk chicken from these jamaican dudes and wow it was spicy but so good.

Saturday
They cancelled the parade and everything because of the heat wave. I still got some tacos from this mexican lady though. We had an early curfew so I got to spend my 4th on our little balcony playing Bob Dylan on the guitar and watching fireworks. I love America.

Sunday
STEVE GOT BAPTIZED I LOVE STEVE. We also got transfer news and Elder Hillam is leaving and my new comp will be Elder Gosman. I'm so stoked I love Elder Gosman.

What's up everyone. Been a couple weeks so that's my bad but things have been great out here. Updates, I'm leaving Norristown and I'm going to be zone leading for the first time in Philly. So much stuff going on last couple weeks but I'll just give some highlights and catch up on crazy guy of the week. Highlights Yesterday Jack and Michelle got baptized and it was so awesome. I'm glad I was born and raised in Ace hardware because Ryobi sucks. What's up everyone! First week in the new area is all done. I absolutely love it already. I am in the Pennypack Ward which is in Northeast Philly. We replaced a companionship of sisters and I am Zone leading for the first time. Here's some stats Pros I am in a quad with Elder Hart again, I haven't seen him since Allentown. Elder Jensen cooks me food.  I made a my little pony tie General conference  Cons Everyone here is Russian and idk how to speak Russian  Friends falling off date Being called gay for my my little pony tie Crazy guy of the week I'm not going to lie we found like no crazy people this week unfortunately but we will be on the lookout this week
